Michael Finley is Vice President at Dark Alpha Capital, leading private equity and M&A initiatives with a focus on financial analysis, valuation, deal structuring, and investor relations. He develops financial models, coordinates due diligence, and supports fundraising to drive long-term value for portfolio companies.
Previously, Michael worked at Morgan Stanley as an Equity Derivatives Product Controller, managing P&L reconciliation, risk reporting, options valuation, and month-end financial close processes. He also ran his own derivatives trading business and gained experience as an Assistant Junior Trader, building expertise in short-term options and market analysis.
Michael combines analytical rigor with strategic deal-making and a disciplined, process-driven approach, bringing actionable insights, financial modeling expertise, and proactive problem-solving to every transaction.
