Bio

Destiny Aigbe is the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Dark Alpha Capital, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy, capital formation, and acquisition efforts. He is responsible for overseeing the review of more than 1,500 potential investments annually, working closely with investors, management teams, and financial partners to identify high-potential businesses and execute transactions that drive long-term value creation. With a focus on leveraged buyouts (LBOs) and growth-oriented private companies, Destiny applies an operator-first approach to building scalable, sustainable platforms.

As an Independent Sponsor, Destiny has established a track record of sourcing, structuring, and executing complex transactions across industries. He has completed eight mergers and acquisitions, six going-public transactions via reverse merger, and advised over 27 companies across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. His legal and financial expertise has been instrumental in enabling businesses to raise over $75 million in growth capital, while his deal-making background spans PIPEs, public and private offerings, and cross-border transactions. Prior to founding Dark Alpha Capital, Destiny held leadership roles as CEO of a publicly traded company, where he grew market capitalization from $250,000 to $150 million through acquisitions and capital raising initiatives.

Destiny began his career in finance and law, gaining experience with institutions such as Bank of America, SunTrust Bank, and the U.S. Department of State before building a career in securities law, compliance, and M&A advisory. His multidisciplinary background allows him to navigate the intersection of capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and private equity investing.
