About Ali Tabassi

Ali Tabassi is a C-level technology and operations executive with more than 20 years of experience building and scaling wireless communications businesses. Most recently, he served as COO of YTL Communications, where he led network deployment, systems integration, and operational execution for Malaysia’s next-generation broadband platform. Previously, Ali held senior leadership roles at Clearwire as SVP, Global Ecosystem & Standards and at Sprint Nextel, including Acting CTO and VP of Technology Development, directing architecture, innovation, and evolution strategies for advanced wireless networks. Earlier in his career, he led engineering and operations teams at MobileStar, SkyTel, Alltel Mobile, and LCC, managing complex IP and networking initiatives. Across these roles, Ali has led multidisciplinary teams to evaluate emerging technologies and deliver differentiated wireless broadband services to market.
