We partner closely with founders, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors to execute disciplined, value-oriented acquisitions through rigorous underwriting and systematic capital formation.
Role Summary
We are seeking a results-oriented VP / President of Marketing to own our investor-facing outbound email and campaign strategy. This is not traditional brand marketing — it's a high-impact capital markets marketing operator role focused on architecting, executing, and optimizing multi-touch email campaigns that drive investor engagement, meetings, and committed capital for live deals and platform growth.
You will translate deal narratives, platform messaging, and investment opportunities into compliant, professional, and high-conversion communications targeting Main Street investors, family offices, HNWI, and other private markets participants.
Core Responsibilities
- Investor Email Campaign Strategy — Design and manage outbound campaigns for live deals, platform updates, and relationship nurturing; segment audiences and align messaging with Dark Alpha’s value-oriented philosophy and compliance standards.
- Campaign Execution & Coordination — Own end-to-end lifecycle: segmentation, sequencing, A/B testing, scheduling, deployment, and cross-team coordination (Capital Markets, Deal Team, Leadership) with version control and approvals.
- Messaging & Content Oversight — Build and refine email templates (outreach, teasers, follow-ups, updates); customize tone, framing, and personalization based on investor profile, deal stage, and prior engagement.
- Data, Analytics & Optimization — Track key metrics (open rates, reply rates, meeting conversions, engagement trends); analyze performance to iterate on subject lines, timing, logic, and segmentation for continuous improvement.
- Systems & Process Integration — Optimize workflows in CRM/outbound tools (e.g., Bitrix24, Smartlead, or equivalents); develop scalable SOPs, templates, and handoff processes to support firm growth.
Qualifications Required
- 6+ years in email/growth/outbound marketing, ideally in finance, private equity, investment banking, or B2B professional services.
- Proven track record managing multi-touch campaigns with strong performance outcomes (e.g., reply/conversion rates).
- Deep understanding of professional investor communications, deal-driven outreach, and compliance considerations.
- Highly organized, analytical, and process-oriented with excellent cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred
- Direct experience in private markets capital raising, investor outreach, or deal marketing.
- Hands-on familiarity with financial services CRM/email platforms.
- Success building scalable outreach frameworks and SOPs in lean environments.

Compensation
Exclusively success-fee based: 2.0% of gross equity capital closed on transactions directly attributable to your coordinated campaigns and outreach (payable upon close, per internal attribution standards). No base salary, retainer, or guaranteed minimum — ideal for proven performers who thrive on results-driven upside in private equity.
